Select the Assets drop-down menu to display the files for the release. The latest version of PowerToys was released just over a week ago and was mostly focused on fixes. According to the Reddit user, this is an early prototype developed in just a week, but the PowerToys team will likely flesh it out with support for more file types and other options before it does not appear in an official version. Apparently created during a hack week at Microsoft, u/MSFT-SAM notes that this new Powertoys Peek feature was created as a lighting fast file preview feature. It may take some time for the feature to make its way to a proper version of PowerToys. On Apple's platform, you just need to press the spacebar when a file is selected to preview it, but with this implementation of PowerToys, you have to use a two-key combination, because PowerToys n does not allow single-key shortcuts. PowerToys Peek is a bit different from how Quick Look works on macOS. ![]()
